✔️ A 42-year-old female was also arrested for theft by shoplifting. She was processed in custody and has been remanded to appear at Cheltenham Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
This outcome was a real team effort, made possible with the support of our Police Community Support Officers (CROFT & TIMMINS), whose local knowledge was key in locating the suspects swiftly.
We remain committed to supporting our local businesses and want to reassure the community that we take reports of theft seriously. We will continue to thoroughly investigate offences and work hard to keep Newent a safe place to live, work, and shop.
