Dear Reader, 🚨 Road Disruptions 🚨
Today Saturday 13th December, Oswestry and some of its surrounding Towns and Villages will be treated to the Oswestry Illuminated Tractor Run. 🚜 🎅
The event which starts at the Oswestry Livestock Market from 3pm will see music, festive food and drink stalls, a junior tractor parade and also an opportunity to meet Santa himself, and much more. 🎵 🥘 🎅
From 5pm the convoy of tractors, decorated with lights and other adornments, will head off on a journey that will take them through parts of Oswestry and out to areas including West Felton, Baschurch, Ellesmere, St Martins and Whittington before arriving back at the Livestock Market. 🚜
This event has been a big hit with local communities previously and is all in aid of a good cause with monies raised going to the Lingen Davies Cancer Charity.

During the event there will be disruption to roads in and around Oswestry as the convoy makes its way around. We would like to ask road users in the area at the time of the event to bear in mind the convoys route and to take alternative unaffected roads where possible. For those that find themselves disrupted by the convoy we ask that they have patience and understanding with the Tractors (some of which might be driven by young farmers) and the stewards assisting the convoy with them conducting road closures and assistance to those in the convoy. 🦺 🚜
