NYCC Community Event

Good evening everyone!

Today, the Edmonton Green and Town Centre Team spent a few hours at NYCC and played video games, table tennis, pool and boxing with the kids and teenagers that attend the centre. This engagement was all about building bridges with the youth of Edmonton and encouraging young people to trust the police that are dedicated to the area.

PC Ali McDougall was the officer who orchestrated this successful partnership and has already organised four future visits, where we will continue to build important connections. We police by consent in the Metropolitan Police and in order to obtain that consent… the community needs to trust us. THIS is how we help do that.
