We are aware of Nottingham Knockers being in your area today Incident 162 12.12.2025 refers. Police attended the area looking for two men who were going door to door selling goods such as dusters from a holdall. One male was described as white , wearing all black and called himself Daniel , another male also white was wearing a red puffer jacket and has fair / light brown .

Police spoke to persons who had experienced the two males , whilst there was a positive encounter there were two reports of the males being verbally aggressive in nature and only left the doorstep when they were informed that police would be called .  

So what exactly is a Nottingham knocker,Nottingham knockers traditionally take the form of young men who descend on an area together in a car or van.They arrive with a bag full of cleaning products each and a plan to go door-to-door in search of cash sales.

While selling on the doorstep is not illegal, they are known for their aggressive tactics, poor quality products, and premium price tags,
Often, the waters are muddied by a claim they are ex-offenders trying to make an honest living and a mocked-up ID card, the campaign adds.
