Appeal for information following attempted robbery in Tesco's on Croft Road, Nuneaton

We’re trying to identify a man who witnessed an attempted robbery at Tesco’s in Croft Road, Nuneaton on Wednesday night.

At around 10.50pm, a man with a knife went into the store and demanded money from the staff.

Following this, the suspect had a verbal altercation with a man outside the store. We’re trying to identify this man as he might have information that could help with our enquiries.

A man was arrested nearby a short time later and has since been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
