I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Vehicle crime (theft from or theft of), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Your local Neighbourhood team have received several reports of suspicious behaviour over the past couple of weeks involving vehicle crime and theft from. We are aware that a number of vehicle registration plates have been stolen and a number of vehicles being entered via the rear boot. Please can we ask that you ensure any unattended vehicles is left parked and secure and where possible in good lighting or areas where there is CCTV from neighbouring addresses. According to data we are able to confirm that this has happened in all areas of Plympton and of varied times. Please report any suspicious activity providing as much detail as possible when reporting.
