🚨 Northwood & Northwood Hills – This Week in Action! 🚨What a week it’s been! Our Safer Neighbourhoods Team has been busy making Northwood and Northwood Hills safer and stronger. Here’s what we’ve achieved together: ✅ Big Wins Against Crime 5 arrests for theft-related offences.These led to 5 convictions covering 32 offences—a huge success in tackling repeat offenders!All offenders received Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) to help prevent further crime.🚦 Slowing Things Down We ran a speeding operation on Joel Street during school hours.Why? Because keeping kids safe on their way to school matters. Great feedback from the community on this one!🛍️ Trading Standards Operation Worked with Trading Standards to carry out checks at a premises on Joel Street.Result? Illegal vapes and bottles of alcohol seized, and two arrests made.Keeping businesses safe and legal—because that’s how we roll!🤝 Community Engagement Spoke with local residents and businesses during patrols to hear concerns and share crime prevention advice.Delivered VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) awareness talks to raise understanding and promote safety.Visited local mosques and synagogues to strengthen community ties and share safety advice.Held a street briefing at Eastbury Road, giving residents the chance to meet the team and discuss local issues.💪 Together, We’re Making a Difference Thanks to everyone who shares concerns and supports our work.
