TACKLING DRUGS IN YOUR AREA.

Thanks to the ongoing help and support from within your local community, simultaneous warrants were carried out in Central Bedfordshire yesterday, based upon intelligence from the public and our community officers.

Yesterday's op was conducted by our Community Enforcement Team with support from Rural Crime and Community officers across Bedfordshire & a number a special constables.

Drugs, phones, scales and a suspected deal list were seized. One person received an out-of-court disposal for possession of Class B drugs, focused on rehabilitation. Two further arrests were made for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs - with cannabis, paraphernalia and multiple phones recovered.

Drugs underpin wider criminality and are linked to high-harm issues such as exploitation, county lines and anti-social behaviour — today’s action is part of our commitment to tackling that harm.
