Dear Resident
Good Evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.
Theft of motor vehicle There have been 3 reports of stolen vehicle in the past week, Hill Village Road - A white Ford Transit was stolen by unknown means. Mere Green – A Silver ford transit van was stolen by unknown means, the vehicle was located and recovered by Police in Walsall. Berryfields Road – A Black, Ford Fiesta was stolen by unknown means.
Attempt Theft of motor vehicle Crofters Lane – Thieves have attempted to steal a Black BMW, but were disturbed by a member of the public who contacted the Police.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
Burglary I am happy to report that no burglaries were reported in Four Oaks or Walmley areas.

Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap before heading out and make sure your home looks like someone is in. Arrests A shoplifter has been arrested for 2 counts of shoplifting and 1 count of robbery.
Surgeries PCSO has attended the Cosy Coffee Shop to carry out Police Surgeries giving crime prevention advice and talking to local residents about issues in the area.
Street Watch A Street Watch patrol was carried out in Walmley, speaking to local residents.
Officers will be patrolling Sutton Coldfield Victorian Christmas Market, making sure all is safe and visitors have an enjoyable visit.
Have a safe week.
Kind Regards PCSO Gill Whittingham
