Off Road Bikes- Sutton Hill |
||
|
Dear Resident Last week the Cuckoo Oak and Ironbridge Safer Neighbourhood Team issued a Community Protection Warning (CPW) to a male from Sunnymead, Sutton Hill. The male was issued the CPW after he was reported on several occasions as riding an off-road bike in and around the area of his home address. The excessive noise and anti-social behaviour generated by his persistent use of off-road bikes was deemed to be having a detrimental impact on the community and thus the official warning was issued. A CPW is a formal notification that stays in place for 12 months and insists that the individual must stop behaving in such a manner to avoid further consequences. If the behaviour continues or the individual fails to comply with the above requirements then they could be liable to be issued with a Community Protection Notice (CPN). Breach of a CPN could result in a fine or arrest. If off-road bikes are an issue in your community, then please let us know via opspree@westmercia.police.uk Op Spree is an ongoing operation targeting the anti-social and illegal use of off-road bikes. Any details provided including who is riding the bikes, where they are being ridden and where the bikes are stored can help tackle this ongoing issue. Kind Regards, Amy (PCSO Newbrook 40337).
