Drugs across Camden

Operation Redshift is the ongoing investigation into Drug lines across Camden, this is in light of the 20+ non-fatal synthetic opioid overdoses in Camden earlier this year and more recently, the fatal deaths attributed to the same drugs line. 

On Wednesday 10th December, officers from Central North Proactive, alongside other Central North Level 2 and 3 serials, as well TSG and Dog Support Unit, executed 14 warrants across the BCU after a painstaking amount of research and investigation. 

Thank you also to colleagues across Central North, namely the Volume Crime Team, Local Investigations and Public Protection for assisting with interviews and case progression.

The dedication shown by all is testament to identifying and catching the criminals that prey on the vulnerable.
