Yesterday morning whilst on foot patrol in the town PCSO Steve and Inspector Bowie, who was on his way to a Pub Watch meeting, were approached by a shop assistant who informed them that there had just been a shoplifting and 2 suspects had made off with goods. Subsequently the 2, who were not local, were in the railway station shelter and dealt with accordingly with the goods being returned to the stores involved. It transpired that they had been in the town previously and responsible for other thefts. They were also informed that they were banned from Looe shops and not to return. |
