We’ve listened closely to community concerns about anti‑social driving in and around Castlefield and Deansgate.
On mobile patrol this week, PC Riaz and PC Gregory stopped several vehicles committing traffic offences. As part of this proactive work:
- Two vehicles were seized for offences including no insurance and driving without a licence. - A number of drivers were issued with traffic offence reports. - Others received educational advice to help improve driving standards and keep our roads safe.
This action is part of our ongoing commitment to address the issues raised by local residents and businesses. We know how disruptive and dangerous anti‑social driving can be, and we want to reassure the community that we are taking firm steps to tackle it.
Your concerns matter, and we’ll continue to patrol, engage, and take enforcement action where necessary to keep Manchester safe for everyone.
