Hello All
✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅ This week St Matthew's neighbourhood team have been getting busy with community engagements. Actively patrolling the streets and the town making sure everyone is okay and getting members of public to recognise our friendly faces. As St Matthew's we have conducted Crime Prevention Advice Surgeries at the Santander Bank, St Matthews Church & The Rock Centre. All establishments have been very welcoming and have been grateful for our visits more surgeries to follow. Officers have also assisted with the Mounted Unit Department where new horses have visited the Walsall Town Centre which have been used for general police patrols which is a new exciting way of policing .We are also continuing our patrols in areas where we are receiving reports of ASB, this includes some of the communal areas at block of flats & the Town Centre. 📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅
Officers will continue to patrol the Caldmore (Karma) area due to ongoing issues with vehicles parking on double yellow lines and zig zags, vehicles that have been causing an obstruction will be noted down and will be receiving a fine in due course. We will also continue high visibility patrols have are being conducted regularly by the teams PCSOs particularly during the darker evening/nights. Our PCSO's continue to carry out daily patrols in the town centre providing visibility and reassurance for anyone working in or visiting the Town centre. We will also have more surgeries coming up in and around the town, highlighting certain topics that the police are looking to tackle. 🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨 This week we have been in and around the town more frequently during thee darker hours, this way we have tackled more ASB and have dealt with shoplifters that try to use the darker hours to their advantage. 🔎 Recent Incidents/Trends: Police Response: CCTV enquiries and investigations. General patrols of the area also were conducted.
✅ Crime Prevention Tips: If you do see anything in the town that is unusual or if you witness a crime, best practise is to call immediately on 999 if there is an immediate danger or report it to 101 where an investigation can be carried out. Never try to stop a crime yourself, always think about your own safety first. 📞 How to Contact Us or Report Information 📞 💬 Stay Connected with Your Local Team: 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Walsall safe and informed.
