Witness Appeal - Tavistock Arson

Local officers have been conducting increased patrols around problem areas in Tavistock Town following a number of suspected Arson Offences. 

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an arson attack in the Plymouth Road area of town, in which a Digger was set alight near to the junction with Pixon Lane at approximately 0050 hours on Wednesday 10th December. Officers are particularly interested in any footage that may capture a person on a BMX pedal cycle.

As a result of our enquiries, an 18 year old male from the Tavistock area has been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
