On Tuesday, 9 December 2025, Neighbourhood Beat Officers (NBOs) and PCSOs from Bolton Town Centre worked alongside Trading Standards to conduct visits to shops in and around the town centre.

This joint operation focused on tackling the illegal trade of tobacco and vapes across Bolton. A number of illegal goods were seized from several premises, as well as from a vehicle suspected of storing illicit products.
