I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

The Team have seen an increase in unknown persons riding SURRON electric motorcycles wearing balaclavas both on the footway and highways of HIGH STREET ORPINGTON for the possible purpose of snatching mobile phones from unsuspecting members of the public, the Orpington SNT have raised an Intel Report and Request for special tactical Traffic Units to conduct patrols of the HIGH STREET.
