Disorder in Oldham town centre

 Police have responded to a number of reports of disorder in Oldham town over the past few days. As a result 5 arrests have been made for possession of offensive weapons and violent disorder. Enquiries are ongoing to identify and arrest others involved. A dispersal order and a Section 60AA search authority was out in place yesterday 09/12/25 and is still in place. Officers will be out on patrol to prevent further incidents of violence.
