Theft of a vehicle

Theft of a car whilst it was parked on Courtman Road, Stanwick.

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after a car was stolen on Courtman Road, Stanwick. The theft occurred between the 8th of December 2025 at 22:00 and the 9th of December 2025 at 07:40

Did you witness anything? Did you see anyone or any vehicle(s) in the area that looked suspicious? If so, then please contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting ref: 25000298654. Alternatively you can report online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle or bike:

Vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Physically check your central locking system has activated to ensure the signal hasn’t been blocked and the car left unlocked

Store keys for keyless entry cars in a RFID pouch or foil lined tin to block signal from scanners that will remotely unlock your car e.g Defender Signal Blocker

Bike:

Secure your bike by looping a cable lock through the front wheel and then through a Sold Secure® Gold standard D lock or chain. Then attach bike to a bike stand or immovable object with the lock Sold Secure - Security Product Testing & Approval

Register details of your bike on the BikeRegister® national database. Look out for FREE police BikeRegister® cycle marking events to have your bike security marked
