Traffic Event on your roads!

Hello there, neighbour!

I'm PC 05728 Finch, your local neighbourhood officer, and I just wanted to reach out with a quick update about all the things we've been up to in your area! We’ve been hearing from lots of friendly faces about concerns on Deane Road and St Helens Road, so we made these spots a top priority for our Operation North Star project.

Operation North Star is all about tackling the issues that really matter to our community. Because of your feedback, we’ve received extra funding, which means your local officers have been able to spend even more time focusing on your area. And don’t worry—there are more action-packed days planned, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted with all the latest updates!

On December 8th, our officers were out and about, stopping over 50 vehicles in the area! Four drivers were given tickets for not quite following the rules, and one uninsured vehicle was seized (that’s going to be a hefty fine!). We also carried out a stop and search in the area on suspicion of cannabis.
