A pensioner was seriously injured by a mobility scooter in Cleveleys this afternoon.

Please see below images of the rider of the scooter who we need to trace.

We were called by the ambulance service at shortly before 13:30pm today after a woman in her 80s was knocked down by the scooter on Victoria Square.

She suffered a serious injury to her foot and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

The mobility scooter did not stop at the scene.

As we investigate what happened, we are asking if anyone recognises the person riding the mobility scooter in the images.

We continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed what happened, has dashcam footage or has other information would could assist, to get in touch.
