Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Tonight the team took the opportunity to conduct some patrols in the dark around some open areas. Being the time of year we want to make sure you are safe in your commute and evening routines. All of the team are have families of their own so understand the importance of safety during daily tasks. Although we came back slightly muddy we are pleased to report we didn't see any wrong doing! We did, however, see runners and commuters who all said hello and how pleased they were to see us!
