Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team - Spring Vale

Hello Resident,

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

Overall a very good week in Spring Vale, visited some of the school in the area, e.g. Hill Avenue and Lanesfield school, addressed some of the parking concerns that resident were having, also spoke to some of the teachers, and warned the drivers not to parking on double yellow line and cause any obstruction, currently working with the council and teachers to put a plan in place to help reduce this from continuously happening. 

Conducted several school visits and did some presentations on online safety, road safety, and safer strangers, with years 2 and year 5 children, they enjoyed the sessions and asked a lot of useful questions. 

Conducted a crime prevention workshop at One Stop Hateley Road, which was successful, residents visited and I gave some reassurance crime prevention advice, and handed out some leaflets and materials, did some general patrols at all the local shops and area, and gained some CCTV footage of shoplifter which we will be taking further action to help reduce this from happening. 

The team Conducted a vehicle operation with the Road Harm Prevention team,  which was very successful. We seized approximately 10 vehicles for no insurance and made an arrest.

✅ Crime Prevention Tips:

Please double check that all windows, doors are locked at all times, we have had several reports of car break ins, installs alarms and safety locks, also on frosty morning, please don't leave your vehicle unattended with the engine left on, also for your homes motion lights and doorbell cameras for extra security. Anything suspicious please report it.
