Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. We have conducted meetings; leaflet drops and joint patrols. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. This week we held a PACT meeting at Thomas King House, Wellington Street. This meeting went well and was nice to see residents turning up. We had some great feedback from the residents, and issues raised which we will be focusing on to improve. This will include partnership work with the local authority to help solve the issues. Our next PACT meeting is on Wednesday 21st January 2026 17:00-18:00. We have conducted joint patrols with the local authorities around parking enforcement. We have received reports around parking issues, especially around Sidney Stringer School. If you are dropping off or picking up your children from school, be mindful where you are parking. Make sure you are not parking illegally and causing danger to any other road users and pedestrians. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 2 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: This week we have had 4 stop and searches in your local neighbourhood. These are a great way to disrupt anti-social behaviour in your area. We have been issuing more CPWs this week to those that have been identified in causing anti-social behaviour in your local neighbourhood. We would like to welcome our new PCSO that has joined our team this week, PCSO PETROSINO. GREAT NEWS: Your local neighbourhood team are looking a setting up a Street watch in Hillfields.
