Attempt Theft of vehicle -Daisy Hill Grove

Dear Resident

We want to make you aware of an attempted vehicle theft that occurred at approximately 03:49 AM on 07/12/2025.

The vehicle was parked, locked, and secure on the driveway. At the stated time, four suspects were seen on CCTV exiting their own vehicle and approaching the registered keeper’s vehicle. They appeared to be using a device, likely a scanner, in an attempt to bypass the keyless entry system.

No access was gained, and the suspects returned to their vehicle and left the area.

Please take extra precautions if you own a keyless vehicle:

Use a signal-blocking pouch (Faraday bag) for your keys.

Consider additional security measures such as steering wheel locks or driveway security posts.

Report any suspicious activity immediately to 101 or 999 in an emergency.
