Prolific offenders arrested!

Your Barnet Vale and High Barnet Safer Neighbourhood Team recently struck a major blow against two prolific shoplifters targeting stores across London and forces outside of London, their biggest mistake was to shoplift in High Street Barnet. 

Having committed some offences in our High Street, the team became of aware of this duo. Acting on self-generated intelligence, the team devised a strategy to intercept the offenders before they could strike again. 

On Sunday 6th December, just ahead of the Christmas Fair, plain-clothed officers deployed on High Street and successfully apprehended the suspects.  One suspect had been wanted since December 2024 and was linked to 32 other thefts, totalling over £33,000, while the second faced charges for thefts worth £15,523. 

Thanks to quick thinking and teamwork, your local officers prevented further crime and brought these offenders to justice.
