Residential Burglary, Waddington 05/12/2025

Good morning,

We wanted to make you aware of a residential burglary which occurred on Friday 5th December 2025 on Clitheroe Road, Waddington.

We believe the crime happened between 17:30 and 20:30 whilst the homeowner was not present at the address.

We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area who may have seen anything suspicious or have been driving through with dash cam, the area would have been busier than usual as it was the Waddington Christmas light switch on that evening.

I appreciate the concern this incident has caused in the village and would urge that you report any suspicious behaviour to us as soon as possible.

I have asked for our response patrols to spend more time in the area, myself and PCSO Mick Kearns-Turner are also on duty this week and will be out on foot patrol completing enquiries, please feel free to come and have a chat with us if you have any concerns.
