NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING |

Pershore Safer Neighbourhood Team have had a busy couple of weeks engaging in the community with local residents and businesses in the run up to Christmas.
We have been visiting vulnerable people in their homes together with additional support with Social prescribers that help and guide people to the right agencies for them. They do incredible work to assist members of the community that need that extra support to address practical, social and emotional needs affecting their health. They can link to local activities, groups and services like debt advice, gardening clubs, or support networks, ultimately helping them build connections and take control of their well-being.
We held our regular drop in at the Wellbeing Hub, another fantastic place in Pershore for people of all ages to come and talk to other people from the community in a safe space where you can speak to trained volunteers that can listen and support. Our presence enables people to talk to us about concerns they may have in the area they live and work together to find a solution alongside housing and other agencies and to get to know people in our community that little bit more breaking down barriers.
On Friday 28th we were on foot patrol for the Georgian Market, it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces, it was a great coming together event and happy to say we had no issues on the night apart from the stilt performer that was way to tall for us to have words with about his juggling skills……..
