Phone Zombie |

Earlier this week, the team resurrected its campaign aimed at taking a bite out of phone theft.
On Wednesday this week in Rainham Road South, 4 homeward school children and 2 adults using their phones were presented with a simple handout reminding them to be vigilant.
The new-look drive highlights our tendency to get distracted by digital displays and zone out from our surroundings...including the threats. Fortunately, snatches aren't commonplace on Eastbrook and Rush Green, but we're potentially only ever a second away from becoming a victim of it.
"As with my past ideas to make people aware of how easy it is to have a phone stolen if you aren't paying attention, I aim to get alongside a 'victim' and place a small handout on their phone's screen. Causing alarm isn't intended, but hopefully it helps show how close someone can get without you even knowing." -Rick (7199EA) | ||
