While the year might be wrapping up, the team are just getting started in its efforts to deliver on reducing theft over the festive season.
Yesterday, 2 parcels were removed from view after being 'doorstep delivered' on the ward, limiting the likelihood of being stolen by an opportunist thief.
Over the past two years, 16 items have been removed from view or directly united with recipients. On a few occasions, residents at home were simply unaware a delivery had been made.
"We've come across a few doorstep deliveries already this year and successfully, and appropriately, hidden them from view. Theft is theft, but it's the bigger inconvenience of having to seek a refund or replacement. We'll do our best to save you the bother."
