I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Dear Residents,
Officers from Abbey and Northbury Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team are taking part in a VAWG Engagement Stall at East Street, Barking tomorrow as part of Day 13 of our 16-day initiative to increase awareness and safety around Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWG). Officers will be approachable for any suggestions, concerns and issues any members of public should wish to raise, and we will be giving crime prevention advice and signing up new members on-the-spot to MetEngage! We all look forward to seeing everybody there!
