Anti-Social Behaviour patrol update |
||
|
On Monday night, officers carried out patrols across the ward following concerns from residents about anti-social behaviour, 19:00 and 22:00 in Dixon Clarke Court.
During the patrol, officers encountered a group of four individuals, who were searched. One individual was found to have a small quantity of drugs and was issued a community resolution. However, officers also discovered a second member of the group had a large combat knife concealed in his waistband, and he was promptly arrested for carrying an offensive weapon. Due to the age of those involved, officers also made a number of safeguarding referrals so that relevant local authority teams could follow up and provide the correct support.
Thanks to the members of the public telling us what is concerning them the most, we were able to target our resources where they are needed most and took a weapon off our streets.
We remain committed to tackling anti- social behaviour in Highbury Corner and the surrounding area.
By working together, we can make a real difference. | ||
