Going Out Staying Safe - Coleshill

This evening Coleshill Safer Neighbourhood Team have participated in ‘Going Out Staying Safe’ in and around Coleshill.

Tonight PC 2300 Thompson and PCSO 8810 Mitchell have walked around the town, in particular Coleshill High Street showing a visible presence. Local licensed premises were visited tonight where we spoke to security staff, engaged with bar staff and landlords. Whilst on foot patrol tonight, officers handed out anti spiking products as we look to raise awareness on the topic of spiking and ensure people can go out and stay safe, particularly at this time of year with events such as Christmas parties.

These events will continue in the new year, thank you to all members of the public who took the time to speak to us tonight despite the bad weather conditions along with the ongoing support and welcome we received from the pubs and their staff.
