I wanted to provide you an update regarding Violent crime, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Dear Community,
I’d like to provide a further update regarding the incident that occurred at 0005 hours on Monday 1st December 2025. A male smashed the windows of several business premises and a vehicle on New Kings Road. Police were called immediately, and the male was swiftly arrested at the scene.
I can now confirm that the suspect has been charged with criminal damage and threats to kill. I would also like to reassure the community that the suspect does not live in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The Fulham Safer Neighbourhoods Team continues to carry out targeted operations and increased patrols, particularly in areas where crime data and community feedback highlight concerns.
I encourage you to continue reporting crime and anti-social behaviour to the police so that we can act promptly and effectively. We remain committed to ensuring Fulham stays a safe and peaceful place for everyone.
Kind regards,
PS Johnny Farrugia
