As the Christmas and New Year period approaches, officers in Cheadle and the wider Staffordshire Moorlands area are seeing an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour linked to seasonal gatherings, fireworks, and alcohol-related issues. We’re asking local residents to help us keep Cheadle safe and welcoming for everyone over the festive period. Please report any of the following if you witness them in the town or surrounding neighbourhoods: - Disruptive or noisy gatherings
- Underage drinking or misuse of fireworks
- Damage to property, littering, or vandalism
- Intimidating behaviour in public spaces, including the town centre and local parks
Our Cheadle Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out additional patrols throughout December and into the New Year, focusing on known hotspots and responding quickly to community concerns. If you experience or witness ASB, please report it via 101, 999 in an emergency, or online through the Staffordshire Police website. www.staffordshire.police.uk Your information helps us address issues early and keep Cheadle enjoyable for all. Wishing everyone in Cheadle a safe and peaceful festive season. |
