We are asking local retailers to be extra vigilant following a series of counterfeit-currency incidents across Lanarkshire. Two males, believed to be travelling from outside the area, have been linked to several offences involving fake £20 & £50 notes. They have targeted a range of shops including supermarkets, convenience stores, coffee shops and smaller high-street businesses.
