School Engagement

👮 MINI POLICE 👮

Today, as part of our ongoing Mini Police sessions, Year 5 pupils at Model Village Primary School in Shirebrook learned about what emergency services refer to as “The Fatal Four.”
This term highlights the four leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities on our roads:

🚗 Speeding
🍺 Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
💺 Failure to wear a seatbelt
📵 Using a mobile device while driving

Sessions like these play a vital role in educating young people about road safety and the importance of responsible behaviour. They also empower children to understand how they can help report concerns if they become aware of such issues.

We would like to extend our thanks to the pupils for their excellent engagement and to the staff at Model Village Primary School for their continued support in delivering the Mini Police Programme alongside the Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team.
