Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Concern Update

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Officers from Waddon SNT were patrolling Wandle Park due to the dark evenings. They were there to protect vulnerable people and deter crime. Officers spoke to a young girl who was by herself in the park and aided her in getting herself back home. Officers patrolled the park on foot and were a visible presence throughout the evening.
