Your Valentine's PCSO's have been speaking with many residents around the ward within the last few weeks, and it's good to be able to speak face to face with residents to sign people up to this Met Engage. Also, a big thank you to the people who have taken the time to discuss the local issues affecting them and completing the survey to allow us more information on what we need to do to improve our patrols and give us more intel.
The benefits of receiving our alerts are to ensure you receive accurate information and not rumors/gossip from social media and WhatsApp groups, etc. You will receive crime prevention advice linked to your area. We advertise what events we will be holding with regards to coffee mornings and walk-and-talks. These events are useful to keep regular contact and updates from yourselves and also a chance for you to ask about crime prevention.
Your information is never shared, and you are free to come off Met Engage anytime you like and come back to us at a later date if you want!
The more people we have the better it is for this to work. Your input is valuable and we look forward to your responses, please share this on any WhatsApp groups and let your neighbours know about it as well so they too can sign up.
