Assault- Kirkbymoorside

We understand there is some concern in the community regarding a report on Facebook of an assault of someone who was walking home. This has been reported to the police and an investigation is under way. At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and we wish to reassure the community Kirkbymoorside is a safe place to live and work.
