Local officers have recently undertaken a proactive operation to tackle crime and keep our neighbourhoods safe. Using a mixture of uniformed patrols and plain clothes tactics, officers carried out a total of 20 stop searches across the area.
Key Results4 positive outcomes achieved, leading to either community resolutions or suspects being summonsed to court.
Legal Powers UsedThe stop searches were conducted under: Section 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) 1984, which provides authority to search for stolen or prohibited items.
