Theft from motor vehicles

🚨 Community Alert – Vehicle Security 🚨
Over the past week, we’ve received several reports of unknown individuals trying car door handles in and around the Mosley Common and Astley areas.

If a vehicle is found to be unlocked, offenders are searching inside and stealing property. Items taken include cash, a perfume bottle (later discarded), and other valuables that could be sold.

✅ Please make sure your car is locked and secure.
✅ Remove ALL items from your vehicle – even small things can attract thieves.

With the run-up to Christmas, let’s all stay vigilant and protect our belongings.

📞 If you see suspicious activity, report it immediately to Greater Manchester Police on 101 or via the GMP website. In an emergency, dial 999.
