Partnership Patrols - Operation West End

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to share some of the success we have been having on joint partnership patrols with our community safety and business security teams across the West End recently. 

We routinely work closely with partners including Safer Business Network, New West End Company, Heart of London Business Alliance, My Local Bobby, West End Security Group, Westminster Council and Saber Security.

Last Friday, we deployed to Oxford Street and had 8 arrests in 2 hours for various offences. 

We have been working jointly with NWEC in the ORB area of Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street conducing partnership patrols alongside NWEC Security and have had a number of arrests for thefts and shopliftings.

One of partners recently gave us some great feedback:

We really appreciate the support and I am sure this won’t be the last time our paths cross! If you could pass this to the Sergeant regarding the officers that were assigned to assist us yesterday PC Knight 2649AW and PC Scutt 3820AW , just wanted to say a massive thanks to these 2 amazing lads and outstanding Police officers. I wish we had more of them in Westminster”
