Foot patrol (02/12/2025)

With the team's final Ward Panel Meeting (WPM) headlining the day, Rick and Lee were out on the ward beforehand to deter early evening burglary and offer a reassuring police presence to those arriving home from work and school (6.30 miles).

All of the Parkside beat was covered first, which included trips to Birch Gardens, Park Drive (4.07pm), Fels Farm Avenue, Home Gardens (4.23pm), Parkside House (4.38pm, p) and Eastbrook Close (4.53pm) via Hardie Road.

Macdonald Avenue (5.02pm), Woodshire Road (5.12pm) and Luke Allsopp Square (5.22pm, p) were also checked on.

Heading through Central Park, Alex Guy Gardens (5.38pm) and Wisdons Close were patrolled, along with Rush Green's Horace and Philip Avenue (6.07pm).

Lincoln Avenue (6.13pm, p), Gorseway and Footpath 155 (6.22pm) rounded off the outing, with the New Avenues Social Club the final stop.
