Hello Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team.

❓ What's been happening ❓

Mobile Police Station. We were out this week in the Mobile Police Station engaging with members of the public at various locations across the ward. Thanks to all those who attended and shared feedback.

Drug Seizures. We've been targeting known locations for drug use including nitrous oxide which we know is being littered at locations across the ward. We will be continuing to enforce at these locations and prosecuting offenders.

Cat Rescue! You may have seen on the West Midlands Police Facebook account our officers rescued two cats from an abandoned vehicle. They have now been given a new home thanks to officers on the team.

Arrests. We've been busy arresting outstanding offenders for various offences across the ward including retail theft, theft of motor vehicle and recalls to prison.

Crime Prevention Surgery - Wednesday 17th December 11am - 12:30pm - Aldi, Hall Green

✅ Crime Prevention Tips for the darker nights

Please don’t make it easy for criminals.

Most crime is opportunistic, and offenders are looking for the quickest, easiest target. Please take a few seconds to double checks your security routines.

Ensure your vehicle is locked with no valuables left on display – even a jacket or loose change can tempt a thief. Utilise extra security measures such as steering wheel locks.

For your home, create the illusion of occupancy by using timer switches. Also consider CCTV, outdoor lighting and anti-snap locks.
