Dear Resident
Good Evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams,
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green, Walmley and Wylde Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.
Theft of motor vehicle There have been 2 reports of stolen vehicle in the past week, Ploughmans Place – 2 vehicles were stolen, good news they were both tracked and recovered by Police. Cremorne Road, 1 vehicle stolen keyless entry. If you do own a keyless entry vehicle please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
Burglary There has been one Burglary reported on Hartopp Road, the rear door was smashed, no entry into the property and nothing stolen.
For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/
Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap before heading out and make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Surgeries PCSO has attended the Cosy Coffee Shop and St Johns Church to carry out Police Surgeries giving crime prevention advice and talking to local residents about issues in the area.
A Community Speed Watch was carried out on Lichfield Road, over 200 vehicles in an hour were counted, I am happy to tell you only 4 vehicles were exceeding the speed limit
A street Watch patrol was carried out in Sutton Park, speaking to local walkers.
Have a safe week.
Kind Regards PCSO Gill Whittingham | ||
