I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Dear Residents,
Officers from Abbey and Northbury Safer Neighbourhood Wards will be conducting active patrols at Abbey Green/Ruins, Barking as part of Day 9 of our 16-day initiative to increase the safety and awareness around Violence Against Women And Girls (VAWG). Officers will be visibly patrolling in the area and its surrounding roads, and will be approachable if anybody wishes to give suggestions, concerns or issues. Lets make this town safer for everyone!
