Phone Snatching

Dear Neighbourhood Watch Members

This is a serious alert message to advise that phone snatchers were active this Tuesday morning along Hoe St and Shernhall St E17.

The incidents occurred at 6.30am, two masked males on electric bikes.

Please be alert at all times but particularly if you use the following routes:

Lea Bridge Road, Palmerston Road, Blackhorse Road, Hoe St, Forest Road, Shernhall St and Wood St at the moment. 

Be particularly alert from around 5.30am to 8.30am and in the evenings but snatches can occur at any time.

Write down your IMEI number and keep it where you can access it if you lose your phone.

Make sure you know the number  to contact your network supplier with the details if you have to report from someone else’s phone.
