Santander Bank Engagement (Frauds and Scams) : Wed 10 Dec 13:30

Good afternoon, 

I will be inside Santander Bank on King William Street in Blackburn Town Centre on Wednesday 10th December from 1:30pm-3:00 for a fraud and scam pop up engagement. 

There has been a spike in recent months of fraud within East Lancashire, including Blackburn where people have been targeted within banks by distraction methods and also online. Therefore, this is a perfect opportunity to pop down, say hello and talk about any issues or concerns you may have, or ask about any information you have relating to scams and fraud. 

I will be able to share advice and information on how to protect yourselves from fraudsters and there will be leaflets, booklets, and online information I will be able to give. We're conscious that some of those most vulnerable to these types of scams may not see these messages on social media, so we're asking you to share this with family, friends and neighbours.
