OP PLENTY |
This morning, PCSO Smith and PCSO Rygielski were out in Atherstone conducting OP Plenty visits. OP Plenty includes visiting vulnerable members of our community for a friendly chat and a cup of tea – making sure they’re safe, supported, and not feeling alone this festive season. Inspector Andi Gibbons of North Warwickshire Safer Neighbourhood Team said “We’re very happy to announce our support of Op Plenty in Atherstone, Coleshill and the surrounding villages. “We are in quite a rural part of the county, and we’re aware that this can sometimes make the loneliness of older people in particular who find travelling difficult more pronounced. “Op Plenty gives us a way of finding out where those who would appreciate us dropping by are, and a reason to check in.” If you know someone who would appreciate a visit – a neighbour, friend, or relative – please let us know by filling out a form and emailing it to: sntreachout@warwickshire.police.uk Together, we can make Christmas a little brighter for those who need it most.
They also conducted high visibility patrols around Mancetter and Atherstone Town. 6360/8742
